What We Do

Overview

PROJECT FUNDING: Friends of Eswatini continues to serve the Swazi people by funding projects that have a meaningful impact on improving the health, education and social services in Eswatini. Over the last 20 years we have raised over $40,000 to fund projects.  These have included large grants to Young Heroes, an organization that supports AIDS-orphans, multiple Peace Corps Volunteer projects through the Peace Corps Partnership program, and other projects proposed by our members .  If you have a worthy project you would like us to consider, please complete a Project Funding Request and submit it to our Project Funding Coordinator.

RPCV EVENTS: FoE sponsors reunion activities for Eswatini RPCVs, particularly at the Peace Corps Anniversary celebrations held in Washington, D.C. every 5 years (next scheduled for 2021).  We also encourage members to get together at the annual National Peace Corps Association meetings held every year in a different State (2020 will be in Seattle, Washington). We can assist in organizing  and publicizing other alumni events by posting them on our event calendar.  Feel free to contact us with your event.
